MARCH 2024
WEEK FOUR

Elementary

Easter is celebrating that Jesus is alive.

Bible Story

Palm Sunday
Matthew 21:1-11

Jesus came to be our Savior.

MEMORY VERSE

“God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son. Anyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life.”

John 3:16, NIrV

Engagement Questions

  • What does it feel like when someone doesn’t keep their promise?
  • Why are promises important?
  • What does it mean that Jesus came to be our Savior?

Prayer

“God, we know that You love us. You proved that love by sending Your only Son, Jesus. Thank You for sending Jesus to be our Savior. We are so grateful for what Jesus has done for us. We love You and we pray these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

As your kid starts their day, tell them about a way you’ve seen them grow and mature.

Drive Time

While on the go, ask your kid: “Tell me about a story you’ve read/listened to lately.”

Meal Time

At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “As we look forward to Easter, how can we take time to remember what Jesus did for us?”

Bed Time

Pray for each other: “Jesus, thank You for coming to be our Savior. It’s the best gift we have ever been given, and because of what You did, we have forgiveness, friendship, and peace.”
