Engagement Questions

• Why do you think Jesus chose a wedding as the place to perform his very first miracle?
• Is it easy to choose joy?
• What are moments you've seen where Jesus showed us how to have joy?

Prayer

“Dear Jesus, thank You for showing us how to have joy. And thank You for showing us that it’s important to SHARE joy with our family and friends. This week, help us share joy in the little things. And help us choose to celebrate YOU. We love You SO MUCH, Jesus! It’s in Your name we pray. Amen.”

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

As your kid starts their day, tell them one way you’ve seen them be joyful.
 

Drive Time

While on the go, ask your kid: “Who is someone you know who seems joyful?”

Meal Time

At a meal this week, have everyone at the table answer this question: “How did Jesus show joy? What is one way we could show joy like Jesus?”
 

Bed Time

Pray for each other: “Jesus, thank You for showing us what it looks like to live joyfully. Help us to live like You.”
